Games. Actions. Objects - a program that blurs the lines between sound and physical movement

Laurence Crane’s Come Back to the Old Specimen Cabinet John Vigani pairs the cello with everyday objects as imagined from John Vigani’s cabinet of 1704. The musical patterns in Luiz-Henrique Yudo’s Five Palindromes are performed with untuned percussion objects and performer gestures. Byrne’s Ants, based on the cellular automaton Langton’s Ants, is performed for voices, cello and found objects. All performances are Australian premieres.
